Patricia Chargot is a former Staff Writer for the Detroit Free Press. She has also worked for the China Daily, in Beijing, and the former International Herald Tribune, in Paris. She is the author of “The Adventures of Balto, the Untold Story of Alaska’s Famous Iditarod Sled Dog,” a chapter book for young readers. Patricia spearheaded “Jimmy Schmidt’s Cooking Class,” a cookbook by the well-known chef, Jimmy Schmidt,” and edited “Dancing My Dream,” a memoir by Warren Petoskey, an Odawa-Lakotah elder. She lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
